Is breakfast included?
We would like to book a double, how do we do it?
Casa Cucù is a holiday home, not a bed and breakfast. Our guests have the whole apartment including the double room, living room (with sofa bed), two bathrooms, and a small kitchen with all the adjoining facilities. The apartment is separate from the main house but does share the garden, but you do feel detached from us.
The apartment not being a B&B does not offer breakfast.
Can we stay one night?
Unfortunately, no. The minimum stay at CasaCucù is 2 nights in the quiet season, and 5 nights in the high season.
What’s the difference between a holiday home and a B&B? Which should I choose?
The holiday home is a house or an apartment, completely independent and self-running, and is not shared with the owners who live in another house.
A Bed and Breakfast, on the other hand, is run in the owner’s private home, who offers up to 3 bedrooms and a bathroom (usually shared).
The holiday home is entirely for the sol use of the guest, be it a single person, a couple, or a family with friends and children, whereas in a B&B you could be sharing the house with strangers.
Therefore, if you love being with and meeting new people, sharing your space (and bathroom), then B&B is for you.
If, on the other hand, you prefer your privacy with your family and / or friends, and would enjoy a little chat with the owner every now and again, then the holiday home is probably the best choice for you!
With B&B breakfast is usually provided, with a holiday home it is not.
We would like to book. Do we have to pay in advance?
We don’t usually take down payments, unless it’s a booking longer than 2 weeks. If this is the case we prefer to make the booking and payment through airbnb.
For short stays all we need is the confirmation of your stay via email, and of course, to tell us in time if you can no longer come.
Do we have to bring our own towels and kitchenware?
No, this is not necessary. We provide sheets and towels, with a weekly change, and we provide everything needed for the kitchen including basics like sugar, salt and pepper, and maybe some peperoncino!!
Where can I park?
There a private car park 3m away from the house.
